Packora Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Packora app ("the App"), published by Pony That Limited ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information. In short: Packora keeps your trips and packing lists on your device. We do not have accounts or servers that collect your data, we do not use trackers, and we do not collect or sell your personal data.

What we collect

Trip and packing data (stored on your device). Your trips, packing lists, departure and check-out checklists, saved templates, the destination you type, reminder times, and app settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. A small summary of your next upcoming trip (its name, dates, and how much of it is packed) is shared with the App's Home Screen widget through a private app container on your device. This information is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

No account. Packora does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any personal identifiers to use it.

No analytics or tracking. The App does not include advertising, third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Destinations

A destination is simply text you type when you create or edit a trip. It is stored only on your device and is never sent anywhere. Packora does not search for places, does not look up coordinates, and does not access your device's GPS location. Adding a destination is optional, and you can create a trip without one.

Notifications

Packora can send local notifications, for example packing reminders and check-out reminders for a trip. These are scheduled and delivered by iOS on your device, without any server involved. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in the App or in iOS Settings.

Sharing and exporting trips

Packora lets you export a trip as an editable .packora file or a printable PDF and share it through the iOS share sheet (for example via Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or Files). This only happens when you choose to share, and the file goes wherever you send it. We never receive a copy. Imported .packora files are read directly on your device.

Purchases

Packora is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

How your data is used

Because your trip and packing data stays on your device, we do not access, analyse, or use it. It exists only to power the App's features for you.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. No third party receives your trips or lists. Apple provides the App Store and the operating system services the App runs on, but the App sends your data to no one, including us.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual items, tasks, trips, or templates within the App, or remove all of the App's data by deleting the App from your device.

Children's privacy

Packora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
